Rewards Card
The Earthfare Rewards Card terms and conditions:
1. These terms and conditions are applicable across the entire Earthfare Rewards Card scheme and any participation is considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Earthfare Rewards Card and Earth Points are issued by and remain the property of Earthfare. Earthfare may, at any time, terminate the scheme or amend the conditions of operation of the scheme.
3. In the interests of sustainability, Earthfare Rewards Cards are made from a single piece of PVC, which is half the plastic of a standard card. The original and first Earthfare Rewards Card you receive is free of charge and any replacements thereafter will incur a £2.50 charge.
4. If Earthfare decides to withdraw the Earthfare Rewards Card scheme at any point, the member will have 3 months from the end date of the scheme to use the accrued Earth Points or the date of store/business closure, whichever is soonest.
5. All members of the scheme must be a UK resident and aged 18 years or over. Participation in the scheme is considered as the member confirming they meet these criteria.
6. Members are only entitled to one Earthfare Rewards Card account each. Earthfare reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.
7. Members must register their personal details and keep Earthfare informed of any changes. Earthfare cannot be held responsible for any loss of points incurred as a result of out of date details.
8. The Earthfare Rewards Card is not transferable, cannot be copied and can only be used by the member who is named and registered for the card.
9. The Earthfare Rewards Card remains the responsibility of the Earthfare Reward Card scheme member, as do any security details relating to the account. Earthfare cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from the member failing to ensure the safe-keeping of these items.
10. Earthfare may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel Earthfare Rewards Card accounts and / or remove a member from the scheme at any time where there is reasonable belief of any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme; any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions; any behaviour that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour, or supplying false or misleading information.
11. The scheme is only for personal and consumer use. An Earthfare Rewards Card cannot be used for any business transaction or purpose.
12. Earthfare Rewards Cards and Earth Points cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded.
13. Members can choose to leave the scheme at any time. By leaving the scheme members forfeit the right to any points already accrued. Please email hello@earthfare.co.uk to inform us of your decision to leave the scheme and cancel your Earthfare Rewards Card.
14. Earthfare reserves the right to change any T & C’s at any time and without notice.
Earning Points
1. Members must present their Earthfare Rewards Card at an in-store checkout in order to collect points for a transaction.
2. At present Earth Points can only be claimed by shopping in-store. Online orders for delivery or click and collect are not eligible for Earth Points.
3. Members who forget to present their card in-store may have their points added manually for up to 14 days after the transaction upon production of a valid receipt, providing the receipt belongs to the claiming member and is based on their personal spend. Earth Points may only be claimed for up to one receipt per day.
4. The amount of Earth Points awarded may change at any time.
5. Earthfare is entitled to remove Earth Points at any time if products are returned for any reason and a full or partial refund of the purchase price is given. This also applies to the exchange of products, unless the exchange is for products with an equivalent point’s value.
6. Earth Points awarded at the time of the transaction may be removed or cancelled if Earthfare determines that the points were collected in breach of these terms and conditions or were awarded in error. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice or actions of our staff that is contrary to these terms and conditions will not have the effect of changing these terms and conditions.
8. Earthfare is under no obligation to award Earth Points for any reason outside of qualifying transactions.
Redeeming Points
1. To redeem points, members must first accrue 250 Earth Points which is the minimum redeemable amount – this may be subject to change.
2. Earth Points have no value until converted in the redeeming transaction.
3. The current conversion value of points is one point equals one penny to redeem against a qualifying transaction.
4. There is no cash equivalent and Earth Points cannot be converted to cash.
5. Each product category is treated differently; therefore you will need to spend a whole £1 in each category to earn the retrospective points. Categories are not combined to earn points so if you spend 50p on fruit and 50p on tea you would not earn any points. 6. In the event of a store closure, Earth Points can be redeemed at other physical Earthfare stores where one remains open.
