A dark chocolate spread that doesn't rely on the hazelnut-and-milk formula made famous by a certain Italian brand. Essential Trading's version uses 30% organic low-fat cocoa powder as its flavour base, combined with organic cane sugar and organic sunflower oil — no palm oil, no dairy, no artificial flavours.

The result is a distinctly dark, properly chocolatey spread with the slight bitterness that cocoa lovers actually want. It's more intense than milk chocolate spreads, which makes it go further and feel more satisfying in smaller quantities.
